Electrolytic copper cathodes are melted in the atmosphere controlled shaft furnace, and transferred into the holding furnace and Hazelett casting machine via the launders. With the assistance of automatic metal feeding and level control system, copper bar is continuously cast and then rolled to 8 mm (5/16") standart wire rod by hot rolling mill running in synchron. Following to hot rolling, the wire rod passes through the pickling line for surface de-oxidation, cooling and brighthening, and then is packed into coil form to be ready for shipment.
