The first stage of the production process is fire refining and anode casting process. Raw material of this process is blister copper, copper ingots and scrap copper. Fire refining takes place in THOMAS type furnaces at about 1250 ^oC. Refined molten copper which has 99.5% copper purity is poured into anode molds with a tolerance of ± 1 kg by using PLC controlled automatic casting system.
